Circular farming in action

In the Netherlands, Jan de Greef’s farm shows how agriculture and clean energy can work hand in hand. By processing local manure and food residues, his plant produces biogas, electricity, and biomethane — enough to supply around 1,600 households — while also creating valuable fertiliser that goes back to the fields.

A simple, powerful example of how the circular economy and the Green Gas Generation are already taking shape in everyday farming.
