What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your device. Some cookies are needed for the site to work at all. Others record how the site is used, or connect your visit to a contact record in our marketing platform. The second kind only ever runs if you allow it.
How we ask for your consent
When you arrive on biogemexpress.com for the first time, a banner asks what you accept. Nothing beyond the strictly necessary is loaded until you answer. If you decline, the scripts concerned are not executed at all — they are not merely silenced.
Your choice is stored for 365 days, after which we ask again. You can change it before then at any moment, see the last section of this page.
The three categories we use
Functional — strictly necessary for the site to operate, including remembering your cookie choice itself. These require no consent.
Statistics — measure how the website is used, in aggregate: which pages are read, for how long, from which country.
Marketing — link browsing behaviour on this website to a contact record in our marketing automation platform, so that our communication is relevant to what you are actually interested in.

Our marketing automation platform is Mautic, self-hosted on our own server at mkt.biogemexpress.com. The data it collects stays with us and is not sold or passed to advertising networks.
Third-party services that receive data
Some elements of the website are loaded from other companies’ servers. Even when they set no cookie, these companies receive your IP address, because your browser has to contact them to fetch the content.

Changing or withdrawing your consent
